About Me
Yimon Lo is Director of Textual Studies at the Centre for Music, Text and Cultures in Leeds, UK. Her research specialises in literature of the eighteenth and nineteenth century, with a particular focus on the poetry and poetics of the period. She is the author of Musical Wordsworth: Romantic Soundscape and Harmony (Liverpool: Liverpool University Press, 2023).
Yimon received a BA (Hons) in English Studies from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, an MA in English Literature with Distinction from the University of Bristol, and a PhD in English Literature from Durham University. She has held postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Leuven, the University of Tübingen, and the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities at the University of Edinburgh.
Yimon has experience tutoring, lecturing, and supervising Bachelor’s and Master’s dissertations in the United Kingdom, Belgium, and Germany. She is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in the UK.
Yimon sits on the Executive Committee for the British Association for Romantic Studies.
In her free time, Yimon enjoys drinking wines and craft beers, listening to classical music, and petting good doggos.
