About Me
Yimon Lo is a writer and researcher based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. She is the author of Musical Wordsworth: Romantic Soundscape and Harmony (Liverpool: Liverpool University Press, 2023). She received a BA (Hons) in English Studies from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, an MA in English Literature with Distinction from the University of Bristol, and a PhD in English Literature from Durham University. She has held postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Leuven, the University of Tübingen, and the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities at the University of Edinburgh.
Yimon’s research specialises in literature of the eighteenth and nineteenth century, with a particular focus on the poetry and poetics of the period. Her work appears in several peer-reviewed journals, including Romanticism, English: Journal of the English Association, and The Wordsworth Circle.
Yimon has experience tutoring, lecturing, and supervising Bachelor’s and Master’s dissertations in the United Kingdom, Belgium, and Germany. She is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in the UK.
Yimon sits on the Executive Committee for the British Association for Romantic Studies.
In her free time, Yimon enjoys drinking wines and craft beers, listening to classical music, and petting good doggos.
